This is a working, modern bottling operation, so don't expect to be poured a glass from wooden kegs. The staff were very friendly and really knew the retail side of the operation and the characteristics of the finished product. They produce a very wide array of products; almost every palate will be satisfied with something. A unique aspect of this particular winery is the production of very high quality muscadine wines. The staff are very helpful, and tolerate lots of questions from home wine makers. They also sell vines if you want to start your own mini-vineyard at home.
We visited The Trellis Room at Post Winery for another great lunch. Healthy, flavorful food presented nicely with great service.
Wines were good ambience it was basically a retail store not very quaint, but would return if we are ever in the area. Raspberry wine was fantastic!
